Future S9 firmware wishlist summary

What about an update where Suunto changes the menu sequence of the watch from time -> actual HR -> steps -> altitude to a sequence where actual HR is the last one?
Every time I am checking my steps on the watch I have to go through the actual HR menu. That results in a HR measurment that I actually don´t want to do and the battery drain increases.
So by changing the menu sequence you can extend battery life.

@Stefan-Kersting
or let us sort the menu sequence and some more customization on the buttons… -
@Stefan-Kersting think there is a topic around here somewhere for customization of widgets. Please vote

Or you can simply use one of the watch faces that shows steps, at least a couple of them do, correct? Then no scrolling at all.

@Brad_Olwin
what if we don’t like these faces? -

what if we don’t like these faces?Well, you know the answer to that one:). And I’ll be the first to admit I wish the watch faces were more customizable but they are not.
-
@Brad_Olwin
maybe they will be in the future? Maybe not in S9B, but the potential successor
…on the other hand: Suunto watches have always been less fancy from the display side and menu… but they have always worked plus tonns of other pros that would only be redundant if I start listing them again -
@Brad_Olwin would love the combination of steps, air pressure and sunset/sunrise in one watch face. But this combination doesn’t exist

If you wear an S5 on one wrist (or S9) and an S9baro on the other wrist it will work

You make a good point: I’ve noticed a distinct improvement in overall Suunto watch functionality if I wear an A3P on on one wrist and a Spartan on the other. Interesting UX choice by the company.

it was for sure mentoined earlier. But I would like to see the integration of vo2 in SA. you can access vo2 on the watch, but not in the app. difficult to implement a graph for this?
-
@Stefan-Kersting VO2Max? If yes, it is already in the app.
-
@isazi Did not see it in the app. Have iOS, mabey it is implemented in Android?
-
@Stefan-Kersting It is there for Android and I think for iOS too. If you see the value in the watch you should see it in the app. Check that you have last version of the app.
-
@cosmecosta definetly not in the iOS app When coming on iOS it would be nice with a kind of long-term trend curve, too
-
@Stefan-Kersting is there in Android…. Screenshot_20201106-095639~2.png
-
@cosmecosta ok, there is a job to be done one iOS
-
@Stefan-Kersting I have the iOS app and appear the vo2max, also a graph on the general view
-
Yes I can confirm it’s there on IOS too, from the diary page…
-
@Stefan-Kersting It only works with watches that have the VO2 max S9 and S5 I think, Spartans do not have and show this metric.
