Have you decided what to do with your loyalty codes? Are you gonna buy Suunto watch right now to replace the old one or are you gonna wait until new products are released?
-
@dulko79
New Suunto 7 with 4100+ chip could be a winner for me. An improved battery is what could be crucial in my choice. According to what I read on the forum suunto 7 could suit my needs. But can we be sure that the new line will come out before the loyalty offer expires? I think I will wait a little longer and monitor the situation on the market. -
@DavorP I think loyalty codes are only for current products, not for the future ones. It is either buying current watches at good prices or investing more money in new hardware/software later.

@dulko79
Yes, you are right. I see now on Suunto page the models to which the offer relates are listed.
I think I’ll wait anyway… -

@dulko79 Loyalty, shmoyalty! Even with a 30% discount (or whatever the figure is, I forget) I’m not giving Suunto any more money after they axed much of the functionality that drove my decision to buy my first Suunto watch. Which is also my last. As of almost two months ago I’m a happy Coros Vertix user.

Since you are still here, I think all of us would be happy to know what is the experience of coros (Also app based) vs suunto. In a separate thread
I’ve seen some reviews and they seem interesting.On my side I am checking. S9B can be an option, but I will wait to see prices of other brands black friday.
Last year on Portugal we got Fenix 5 at 299eur (today 329eur), S9B with 30% is 350eur, coros in also between 300 and 500eur…
Don’t know. I think I will try the S9B after black friday and if I don’t like I return it.
So far from the reviews nothing triggers me much attention as the ambit 2 did back in the day.edit: for those who are in the us and want to buy coros, here is a good hint
-
@RiphRaph S9 baro black at 350 € or just over 400 € for Titanium seems a good deal if you are satisfied with functions that come on board. I guess S9 is also not at the end of lifetime. If I am not wrong it was mentioned in another thread that watches will be supported till the hardware allows it. Any new Suunto watch that comes in the future will need some time for bugs to be fixed plus price tag will be much higher. Another option is to wait for Black Friday what competition will offer.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos do you have any information if there will be further announcements on this digital transition?
Right now we only have
“We have decided, in order to ensure the best possible consumer experience for all our community, that we will postpone the planned changes to Movescount App, SuuntoLink, and Moveslink2 until 2021.”Till when?
What will be implemented and what won’t? (Right now we know, mostly for your comments (And thank you a lot!) that at least power on SA should be corrected)Thank you

@André-Faria iOS paring and sync issues, some notifications on android and of course power. That is what I personally know.
There should be another update in 2021
