HR monitor fires on every "data" main screen
-
… and not only on HR data one (as I would expect).
I attach a small (very poor quality ) video that explain it better than words
I noticed this because I disabled 24/7 to test battery duration
It do the same on steps, training etc.
It’s ok on activity, navigation etc. -
@sartoric video?
-
I’m having some trouble with the clip
-
It should works now
-
@sartoric Yes, I have the same on my Suunto 9. It isn’t exactly every screen, but every screen when scrolling down from the main watch face screen. For example, I go down once to HR screen, and HR sensor lights up as expected. Then I go further down to steps or training screen, or altitude, but HR sensor continues to be active. That doesn’t make much sense. It continues to be active until I return to the main screen.

Yep, that’s what I meant for “data main screen”
-
Didn’t get it guys… the problem is that you have disabled 24/7 and oHR continues working?
-
That screen / behavour is as designed but for sure could be better. Problem here is the card at that screenat the 1st one.

Yes and No
It starts flashing when you scroll down, also if you’re not on HR view. -

It was my suspicion, but I just wanted to list it for the sake of knowledge

That is a questionable design. And I guess because HR sensor gets activated the watch can’t stay on step counter or altitude screen for a long time even though HR sensor isn’t needed there.
-
@silentvoyager yup correct
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos However, HR will disconect if you go to the “extended screen” in any of these data screens (middle button to go right)
Example: If you are in step count main screen, HR in ON, tap middle button to Steps weekly summary and HR turns OFF. If we stay there for some time, it returns to step count main screen and HR fires back ON again.
Is this expected by design? Not a problem for me, just to understand it.
Cheers

@pedromslopess yes
