                press back+lap for 12 seconds. -> Info -> GPS sgee look if the date is old. if so. sync the watch via usb-cable with the computer.
                try searching gps under clear sky and point a antenna up. (the plastic bulk) without holding the antenna. should get a signal within around 5 minutes.

                    @mario_b nothing is happening after 12 sec of holding that lap+back button on my Ambit3 Peak (last firmware installed)

                      @thailon , should have been 2 upper buttons, back/lap + start/stop
                      And under service menu there’s also Action -> GPS Reset , might be worth to try this as well.

                          @thailon sorry, my fault. @margusl said the right thing. (Forgot start) 🤦‍♂️
                          Here you can see how old the gps infos are on your watch. If you sync over the cable gps position data will be updated. And you will find a quicker gps fix.

                              A3 user guide is quite complete and, among other bits that might not be too obvious, covers the service menu - https://www.suunto.com/Support/Product-support/suunto_ambit3_peak/suunto_ambit3_peak/features/service-menu/
