Graph - How can this be possible ?
-
Maybe I never noticed it, or it is something related to the new FW, but how can the 2 graph be not “synchronized”
If I soft reset the watch I suppose that both graph should be reset. Isn’t it ?
Maybe there are 2 different scales ? 24h for HR ?

@sartoric I probably don’t understand what you mean, but if the OHR failed to get data for a while and the barometer does get pressure (as it never fails I guess), then you end up with charts like that?

Did you wear the watch all the time?

omg I need some vacation …
I checked it after an activity and I simply forgot I charged it …ahahahaah

@sartoric The other way you will see this is with a software update, the graphs do not retain their memory.

@Brad_Olwin
Actually, that happened because I’ve discharged it completely to re-calibrate battery.I was confused because the HR graph wasn’t covering the same time-frame … but of course the watch was charging so it was not recording HR

Which interval of recalibration you use?
Is useful do this? Thanks! -
@flypg
Usually I don’t do calibration.
I do it just after a FW update or if I see strange battery drain, like 1% in hours of normal use and 10% for a 20 min “gps” activityLet’s say it would be useful to do it from time to time, maybe every couple of months.

Speaking of graphs and HR, since the FW update my OHR has got a reading within seconds. Also has been accurate. Before when I would try to check my HR on the fly it wouldn’t get a reading for minutes and rate was all over the place I considered the fact that I am dark skinned and heavily tattooed but that hasn’t changed so I’m reporting better OHR after update. I actually noticed this because I’m doing a battery calibration now as well so my S9 is running all switches on to drain battery (HR, Activity, Sleep etc.)
Also I mostly only do battery calibration after updates. Always a good idea considering when new features are added power consumption could change.
