Hi,
is it possible to set the altitude reference value during a exercise? I use the S9 baro, can not find that option. Thanks!

When you say “during a exercise” do you mean while recording your activity (not before starting it) ?
In this case, no, but you shouldn’t need it as FusedAlti should correct the altitude automatically (if needed)Check the manual :

@sartoric thanks, i ment during recording an activity. Sometimes , during a long hike or so, there are places with a known altitude. By unstable weather conditions barometric presure van be wrong. But fused Alti should do the job.

Interesting idea…following along

FusedAlti takes care of this. I do a lot of ski mountaineering and I never set the altitude on my watch. I am rarely more than 10m difference in altitude when I arrive at the summit. Believe me some of the barometric changes can be quite large.

However, arriving on a 4000 of the alps and not seeing the exact altitude is frustrating … it would be better if Suunto implemented the ability to adjust the altitude even during a recording, I don’t think it is such a sensational and difficult change to make…

I don’t know what happened, but why does my last run have a different climb? (the first link). I ran almost on the same route and synchronized my watch with my mobile phone before running.

@Durri I ran from January to March about the same routes, and the climb was almost the same, no big deviations. I rode my bike during the season and I start running again from November, but the climb doesn’t coincide at all with that from the beginning of the year.
