      I do the following procedure:

      • Search an interesting route anywhere (Wikiloc, Strava…)
      • Download GPX file
      • Copy GPX file into my smartphone
      • Open GPX file using file manager (open with… Suunto) ans save

At this point I see the imported route in Explore - Routes

What I want to do is to follow the route with the phone. Starting a new activity on the phone I can choose any of my past activities, but not the imported file.

      Is there a workaround?

If not, I encourage Suunto to add the ability to follow an imported route.

I use to have the route in my SSU and this is most of the time all I need, but in unknown areas, sometimes is good to see the map in the phone. Now I use Oruxmaps to do so, but I think SA could replace Oruxmaps or other GPS/map apps

      SSU FW 2.8.32
      SA 4.28.1

Maybe you could open a thread in Feature suggestion

I guess it was already discussed, but maybe it was not “suggested”
