-
I have used Suunto 9 with accuracy Good mode to join two 100km competitions and both results of kilometer were wrong. however, if used accuracy best mode or ok mode, the result was correct.

I guess this is already known, but let’s wait for a confirmation from S9 owners or from @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos

It looks like a UTM zone issue.
That area seems to be the borders of zones 49Q and 50Q -
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos GPS accuracy is good mode
-
@sartoric I don’t know if it’s a zone problem, also SUUNTO can’t help me to solve it and only suggestion to use the best mode of GPS accuracy.
Suunto reply below:-
You can either choose between getting longer battery life with less accurate data or you can choose getting the best data with lower battery life. We understand that you want to get both. However, in cases like GPS connection, the BEST GPS accuracy is required to get the most accurate track. As mentioned having the BEST GPS accuracy can lessen battery life but it can provide a more accurate information given that the move was done in the most ideal environment. PERFORMANCE mode would still be the best option for this to get the data you want. -
No this is for sure a bug I bet
