I had a 5K race this morning that I was hoping to PR at. As soon as the gun went off, I pressed “Start”, and the watch crashed and rebooted. While running, I setup a new running activity, paired with my Polar H10 and Stryd foot pod, pressed “Start” and it crashed and rebooted again. At this point, I’m almost half a kilometer in. I ended up running the race blind rather than fight with the watch.

Before the watch crashed both times, I loaded up a 5K race “workout” that was built on intervals.icu. The workout was:

      Race
      - Run 5km @ 103-106%

After the race finished (I did not PR), I felt vibrations on my wrist and noticed that my watch was continuing to crash, reboot, and crash again. Then it just completely powered down. Not sure how to power on the watch, so I long-pressed the digital crown, then long-pressed the top button. One of those seemed to work. The watch powered up and has remained powered on since, without crashing.

I can send logs if you need them, but this was incredibly frustrating, to say the least. This was a 5K I was training for and hoping to do my best and my watch let me down.

The top button one. You remember the sticker pointing to this button “Adventure starts here”

Do send the logs and do send an email to support@suunto.com (from the same email address as is configured in your suunto account)
