Suunto Coach plans
-
Hi,
as far as I know, the generated training plan cannot be synchonized from the app to a Suunto Run. But honestly I don’t understand why?
Even a recovery run could be expressed with a simple 1-step structured workout.

@SimonDe one of the decisions I don’t understand from Suunto.
That and the fact that you can’t send workouts from outside plataforms (Runna, TP, intervals) to the watch.
Segmentation doesn’t make sense because this are very basic features. A watch promoted directly to runners that can’t use any planning feature?
The lack of Suunto Plus support also doesn’t make any sense, since the workouts created in the app appear has Suunto Plus guides.
Because of this lack of planning features I’m thinking about alternatives. Maybe I’ll upgrade to Race S or maybe I’ll go back to Garmin or try Coros.

@SimonDe I use intervals.icu because I don’t find the Suunto coach very good (it’s in beta, so that makes sense). But whether I use the Suunto coach or intervals.icu, the Suunto Guides sent to the watch aren’t compatible, which is a real shame. As a result, I’m starting to look at Coros and the Pace 4.

@Nelson-Diogo It used to work. I am having this problem very lately and honestly is frustrating.
Something that was working to end it up without any info.I

@winelouk for the Suunto Run I think they never worked.

@boxwex yes I like Intervals also (the UX scared me at first look). The suunto coach is terrible so I don’t miss it but there should be a way to send from outside plataforms to the Suunto Run.
I also started looking to Coros and Forerunner 170 because at least there I know I can plan my weekly/monthly training ahead. But I would miss Suunto design and built. I really like their watches. Maybe I go to a Race S or Race 2. But I hope Suunto still fixes the Suunto Run.

@Nelson-Diogo sorry i missed this part. I have the Race.
