I want to be able to temporarily deactivate the seconds timeout (default setting by Suunto is 60 seconds). Reason: The watch just looks much cooler and complete. I mean, it is also possible to select “Standby” under “Display”, and that definitely uses more battery. Suunto should let the users decide, if they want to turn on/off things that are important to them. PS: All official photos from Suunto show the watch face WITH the seconds. Why: Because it looks much more balanced than without. Analog watch ads often show the moving seconds hand. Why: Because it looks good. I know it’s a sports watch and I’m using it daily for this purpose, but I also like a beautiful watch face when doing other things than my trainings. 🤗
