and, forgot to say, also starting with 1.0.18, there is now an optional subscription if you’d like to support the project.
The audience has grown quite a bit recently, it’s great! but it also means more servers, traffic, storage etc… and eventually more bills.
If you find the app useful and would like to support development, this is now one way to do it! Just an option.

Greatly appreciate all of your efforts and will happily support further development!

@larrybbaker Thank you a lot!

Thanks for this dev.
Is the basic subscription limite to 45 minutes as described in substitution page ? -
@Antoine nope, not really…
probably i could explain better in copy
45min tail means, that subscriber who look at you via web will see you current position and 45min trail before.to be honest it was default behaviour whole life of the app.
basic idea on start was just economy on ram, when it operates on lower end machine.now legacy behaviour kept the same on free plan.
said that, there’s no limit for activity tracking, and whole activity will be saved 3-4 and more hours… it related only for live tail in web view

Ok, I see… Thanks for the explanation.

Hello,
Ok so position is still shared for free membership. Thanks for answer.
I haven’t kept up with the recent exchanges, but have the Bluetooth conflict issues with the Suunto app been resolved?
The last few times, the Suunto app completely lost connection with the watch and I was no longer receiving notifications.
-
Tested on Race2, with all features enabled on the iPhone—including GPS and app background running. A connection was established, but it would drop every few minutes, and it was no longer possible to track the location.
Both devices are running the latest software…
Uninstalled

@Nikolai-Simonov It’s a shame—it’s the only feature from the Garmin world that I miss. I don’t understand why Suunto, which is geared toward adventure, doesn’t support this natively… Thanks for your effort.
-
@UjcoCZ heard rumors a Suunto native live tracking might be in the pipeline, it’s a rumor but it’s a good source

-
@herlas Well, that would be great. Or at least it could better support the developers’ efforts, since it already provides them with the Suunto Plus platform.
