      Hi,

I recently had the chance to dive with the Nautic, and I really like it.

I am not a technical diver, but I would like to try CCR diving in the future. I live in southwest France, and we often dive along the Spanish coast near Irun.

We do not have specific dive sites and usually dive in uncharted areas. It would therefore be very useful to be able to add POIs during a dive, so that we could start mapping interesting spots such as caves, arches, and other features.

For example, one of my buddies discovered a nice cave during a dive. We have the GPS coordinates of the entry point and the diver’s memory, but it has been very difficult for us to pinpoint the cave precisely afterwards.

        Hello Arnaud
Like you, I am very much looking forward to the CCR mode!
If inserting a POI while diving would be a plus, I think the problem would come from the reliability of its geographical position since underwater navigation information is essentially inertial and comes from the compass!
In my club, we face the same problem and apart from noting bearings and distances or using a SMB to mark the location, I don’t really see any cheap solution.
