[2.53.42] Race 2 crash after few minutes of activity

So I just got nightmares from the past awoken The R2 crashed after ~600m of guidance activity.

Runna guides (interval run) selected,
ZoneSense and Burner as extra 2 apps,
Navigation: Snap to Route
Sensors: External Garmin HRM

The run started fine. Cycled to the maps screen and left it there for the first 500m.
Pressed crown to go to the guide it was shown just fine
Pressed again to go to ZoneSence, the watch never went. Pressed again, nothing. After couple of secs the watch restarted.

@EzioAuditore I mentioned that before, but I have seen quite few people here talking about crashes while using ZoneSense app. ZS is now native so app is not really needed, try without it.

@aiv4r ZoneSense being a native app, is that also the case for Race S?

@aiv4r I agree, because ever since I started using the built-in one, I haven’t had any crashes (ofc, I can’t swear that’s exactly the reason)

@snow was using the ZS app with the previous FW for 3 months without any issue.

Another random crash on my Vertical2 during a run today. Latest FW, no ZS, no S+, no sensors. Seriously, when are we getting a stable build? It’s getting hard to trust this watch for training.

My Vertical 2 has also crashed on a run today. At some point I looked at the screen and it was showing the watch face. A part of the activity prior to the crash was saved.

I’d really appreciate if the watch at least vibrated when a crash is detected so that the activity could be restarted as soon as possible. In my case I lost probably 10 minutes of the run until I’ve noticed the crash.

The race season is coming so this worries me a lot! I’ll not tolerate a crash happening during a race.

My experience is opposite. I used a custom sport mode from the beginning and didn’t have any crashes. But today was the first time I used a built-in Run sport mode and it has crashed.
