The goal is to actively look for friction points, missing features, and areas where the experience breaks, from the perspective of a user coming from a Huawei device.

This doesn’t mean the product lacks, there are definitely positive aspects, but identifying weaknesses early is the fastest way to understand.

All observations are based on just two days of usage and reflect personal opinions. Some of these points may not be flaws but intentional trade-offs, aligned with the product’s design.

      • Notifications
        Lack of granular notification controls
No option to select which app notifications are displayed on the watch

      • Wake Interaction
        No tap-to-wake or double-tap-to-wake functionality

      • Apple Health Integration & Data Onboarding
        Poor integration with Apple Health:

      1. Some data (e.g. sleep tracking) is not synced (I know this is a known limitation)

      2. Poor integration with Apple Health
Some data (e.g. sleep tracking) is not synced (I know this is a known limitation)
No option to import existing user data from Apple Health,
For example, redundant data entry during onboarding (age, gender, weight, height, etc.)
I already have accurate daily metrics (e.g. weight) in Apple Health, and it would be great if the app could read from there.
From my perspective, data sharing and metrics interoperability are fundamental aspects of a good product. A device should integrate seamlessly into a user’s existing ecosystem and coexist with other devices already in use

      • Navigation & Screen Flow
No auto-return to home screen (watch face) after inactivity
If the screen turns off on another page, it remains on that page instead of resetting after <X> sec.

I plan to keep updating these notes as I use the device more extensively. Some aspects that I currently perceive as limitations or missing features might change with deeper usage and better understanding of the product.
