With update 2.48.16 we got the “New improved morning report” which I found actually a nice improvement over the older sleep report. Ignoring the quality of the actual measuring.

But since the update after that, 2.50.26, I’ve not seen any sleep report at all. Not the old one, not the nice new one.

Tried turning off sleep measure for 24 hours, restarted the watch. Looked through the settings to see if I can find any setting that would fix this. But haven’t been able to solve this.

Does anyone else experience this? Or better, have a solution?

@localhost I am getting all of my Morning Reports with this firmware. Make sure sleep times are set, that HRV and sleep tracking are on as well as 24/7 HR monitoring. I would also set DND during sleep time and check resting HR.

@localhost How is your sleep tracking overall? Are your reported Fell asleep and Woke up times close to actual times?

@Squirrel i moved from AWU3 which had tendency of underestimating deep/rem, suunto deep/rem are close to what i had with garmin, but awake is my concern - it is around 2 minutes, where I know i should gave at least 30m aware at night 🙂

I’ve got that all already 😞 And all the others seem to work.
Does anyone know if my data will be synced back to the watch if I choose to do a factory reset?

If you mean if the tracking is working, yes. If you mean if it is accurate, then I’d say Suunto should improve on this one. A lot.

How did you manage to turn off morning report? I like that too.

There is literally no information on morning report that I need to know first thing in the morning and now, every morning I have to click a button before I can use my watch. Morning report on my previous garmin was just as useless but at least it could be turned off.

I’m experiencing an issue where the Morning Report is not appearing on my Suunto Vertical2. It has been missing for two days.

I’ve downgraded to 2.48.16. After that my watch didn’t want to connect to my phone anymore, so I did a factory reset. Too bad that not all data is synced back after that. Guess I’ll see in the morning if it is working again.

@Bigb0zz hey i have this since 2 days. Never had this before. Check your watch AND your App. In my case the night values wich are showing in the App Shows not last night, but the night BEFORE. in my App it shows last night. (I know the times when i got to bed and woke Up) Its delayed 1 day in my watch, so i believe its the reason for not getting morning report. Cause the night before the last night ist over. So perhaps its a Software bug IN the watch. Please checked this out. Did 3 softresets, nothing helped … Deleted the App and reconnect the watch also didnt solve this issue. I think only hardreset will solve this suddenly bug.

@GiPFELKiND I had a similar issue earlier this year, the solution which worked for some of us but apparently not for everyone is discussed here:

Please read through the whole thread, there are additional steps/issues some encountered.

So, after the downgrade, then reset and yesterday upgrade to the latest firmware, my morning report was working this morning. So for me, this seems to be resolved.

@gipfelkind I found the cause: the Morning Report is triggered by arm movement while I’m still in bed. If I don’t see it and leave it undismissed for an hour, it vanishes and cannot be accessed again that day.
