@Migsey The DM5 still exists, it shouldn’t be a big deal to bring a new version with Nautic / cloud support. Then we could see the same dives in both applications.
Suunto app for eyecandy and overview, DM5 for details

      Race S
      Vertical Titanium Solar
      Ambit3 Vertical
      Eon Core

@VoiGAS Absolutely. I feel that I need more info so I can analyse the data better. The iOS app is eye candy! The nautic need something like a “DM6”. I particularly miss the planner ability on a separate app.

@Migsey After speaking with Suunto support, I got impression that they are fine with us using 3rd party software and not bothering about creating their own proper app, strange but ok, message received. So for now, all my data goes to Subsurface which I can recommend, using json and fit file export from suunto app.

One would like to be able to do the settings in the app and then transfer them to the computer. Even someone so restrictive as Shearwater allows you to do that.

A dedicated divelog app would be better than what we have now.
But what we really need is an API or something so LIBDIVECOMPUTER can support the Ocean, Nautic and Nautic S.
That way all the divelog apps (subsurface, submersion, divelog, etc.) can import the data.
I’m not trusting a manufaterer with my divelog. (due to maintaining software suppport)
Open source is the way to go.

instead using closed source app that can be used with suunto devices only, you can use https://submersion.app/
I added support to submersion to import dives directly from the cloud, also working on cloud imports from Garmin and Shearwater.

Some of the best features is:

                • list item The ability to import the same dives from multiple computers (main and backup), mark them as same dive and compare them
                • plan dive, save it, make the dive and check the actual dive vs the planed one
                • own your own data without the dependency on a vendor

@Hugues78fr This! Main problem with this dive computer I thisn the problematic import to Subsurface. I do not need a vendor-lockedin app.

Hi, we’re working on Ocean / Nautic / Nautic S implementation inside libdc-swift & libdivecomputer (so submersion and subsurface, because they are both working on libdivecomputer)
We are really close to the end, and we need some users of those three models to help us with their datas.

Can you please join us here ? https://github.com/deepsealabs/libdc-swift/issues/29

                      Thank you guys !!
