      Hello fellow Suunto owners,

I’ve run into a recurring issue and wanted to propose a solution.

If you forget to stop and save an activity, you’re forced to discard it entirely, even if the actual workout was completed correctly. Uploading a 2-hour activity when the real session was 45 minutes badly skews statistics in both the Suunto app and Strava.

      Proposed solution:
Add an “End & Crop” option when stopping an activity.

      EndAndCrop.png

This would allow the user to adjust the end time of the activity before saving:

For GPS activities, the breadcrumb could simply be trimmed from the end, similar to how Strava’s crop feature works.

This would prevent unnecessary data loss and keep activity statistics accurate. Given how easy it is to forget to stop an activity, I’m confident this would benefit many users.

        Upvote for this.

I regularly crop activities in Strava. In Suunto app it is not really possible, you can change duration, but have to change distance too, so far I remember.

At least we now get reminder when changing from running into car e.g. or when moving again after a break.

Another great thing would be out start after a view minutes. I sometimes go to the activity screen, and forget to start it. There could be a reminder or an autostart function as soon as the watch detects a movement.

          Upvoted this as well!

Haven’t experienced this yet with Suunto (but I’m still a newby 😊 )

I’d prefer to have this on the app. It’s less vulnerable for mistakes, I think

it would be a nice feature, but I agree to have that option within the SA app, not on the watch

This is kind of there already. If you are in the prestart screen and start moving, the watch will beep and vibrate. It is some welcome side-effect of the pause-reminder, just without a message.

If you sync to many external services, then you will have to edit all separately. If it is possible on the watch, it will be synced for all in the same way.

@Ecki-D. nut 100% sure, but if it has the moving-during-pause-alarm, it should have this one too.
