@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Thanks Dimitri, that answer my question, but honestly I’m very disappointed by this… I expected something far more useful… As already stated by Tim you provide 2 times information on battery remaining. OK this is something important (watch doesn’t work so well with empty battery), but runners are not chicken without head runner, I guess that the information at one place should be enough. What I’ve expected in my phantasy, during the long time it took me to find the information, was to have a visual information about my full recovery time from my last training session. How to submit this “feature” for an update ?
-
@sartoric Thanks a lot, it works !
-
@Philippe-Segers since this is a watch FW feature, I would guess via suunto support.
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos And what about one ring to rule them all ?
-
@Philippe-Segers hahahahahahahahahhahaha!
I have frodo here
-
@Philippe-Segers welcome to the forum man! Welcome welcome
-
@Yannis-Belouris to Suunto support, akka >> Dev null ?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos BTW, have you any idea on where the information about these rings should fit on the “regular” Suunto documentation webpages ?
The way it is right now with two times the information about battery (for which, as an HPC R&D project sitting in front of a desktop more often than running hundreds of km in the wild (unfortunately), I don’t care), seems to me a little bit like if your software engineer were bragging on how well they manage the energy usage “look, look, it can now keep working for ages”, but the fact that they handled it so well make that there is now use as looking at it (twice) each time we look at our watch… -
@Philippe-Segers I agree with you about the 2ble battery display. We even had some nice proposals and mockups here in the forum.
I think that watchface is in the S9 manual only

This is the official link to Spanish Trainer doc (you can find in other languages)

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I cannot find neither GPS under “power saving” (where would that be?) settings nor any alti/baro setting you mention somewhere above on my S9.
I am completely new here, as well as with Suunto (just got my S9 2 days ago), so, please, forgive me if I am missing something obvious.
-
@thanosgatos its in battery modes. go to battery mode in options, select custom -> GSP accuracy -> off
-
@thanosgatos Alti baro is being worked on , as you should not need to change that setting. ITs best set for you now.
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos thanks for that!
How about the settings regarding the altimeter? Are there any? Reading this thread (a couple of other places too), I’ve seen both you and others mention something about “alti/baro”. Cannot find anything more than the “reference altitude” and “auto adjust” under “outdoor” settings.
EDIT: Just saw you already replied. The only option I’ve seen is in the SA settings for “altitude source”. How does this one work?
-
@thanosgatos that is about if you would record with the app . So its the sensor that you want to use for your phone if you would record with the app.
The alti/baro settings on the watch are removed for now, we are working on supplying a better setting, perhaps something like altitude lock. That automatic profile that these settings provided will go away afaik
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos thank you! I feel I’m slowly getting the grasp of it…
-
@Tim4c after year nothing changes. Anyone from Suunto team consider this?
All watch faces have just 4 different information max. -
@tomahawk5000 I don’t know sorry…
-
If you serious about that I will send it back to right away.
I love the watch but the notifications in Spartan is really bad .
For me the real problem is that if you got WhatsApp for example from one contact and then you got a new one from different contact the watch showing you both of them again and not only the last notification.
It’s driving me crazy

@Sagi-Agiv yes please contact support.
