Suunto 2.50.26 – Q4 2025 Release Notes
-
@atoponce I meant one of these that you can’t customize, but have to have enabled in order to use the “old” interval feature on the watch itself(before suuntoplus)

-
@Mads-Hintz-Madsen Just did it on my Race I and no hard-reset. Went through the update process just normally

Happy to hear that it is only me (so far) who has experienced this. It seems like I am an outlier and the update went smoothly for others

-
@Mads-Hintz-Madsen perhaps your „ghost paired“ devices theory is really correct

-
@smedberg Ah. I didn’t need this before this update and I can push the workout on a specific day and it shows up as expected with the interval screen. Hopefully this isn’t what’s needed going forward.
-
@smedberg Yes, that seems to be the missing key. Good spot! I removed the interval screen from my “Running” sport-mode and the guides are gone. Maybe this is related to the things they did under the point “Interval training integration in Suunto App and watch”.
-
@Stavrogin hope it’s a bug and will be fixed asap.
-
Hello. I am new with Suunto. I have a Suunto Race 2 and have updated the firmware to the latest version. Media controls (touch taps) don’t work while running training. Is it an old issue or a new one?
-
@Stavrogin i don’t see guides and intervals settings in custom sport mode. Irony is i just wanted to try suunto guide for first time tomorrow, already created it in app. But i can use it with basic sport mode at least.
-
@Tomas5 same here

Do you have Interval screen in your custom sports mode?
as mentioned in https://forum.suunto.com/post/182672 -
@smedberg this workaround really works.
-
@Tomas5 yes it really works. Thanks for this help. But why Suunto does not communicate this.
-
@Sportsfreund just wait for someone from Suunto to react to it. They do this forum only as freetime activity. Give them time to react.
-
@atoponce I reported this as well to support on the app. Same issue. I recreated the custom sport profile and it did not fix it.
-
@GiPFELKiND I would downgrade, but I had issues with HRMs in the last update. With this update the HRM via BT is fixed. Going forward if I want to do a specific workout on a certain day I will schedule it and then it will offer it when I open the custom profile. Not the best, but 98% of the time I do what is in TP for the day so it is offering these on the correct days.

Hello Everybody,
My partner has a Suunto Race 2 watch, and after the January 7th software update the SuuntoPlus apps disappeared from the sport modes — only three are now. No matter how many times I refresh syncing or reconnect the wat the issue remains. The previously programmed interval workouts have also disappeared.
Suunto app on Mobile is a newest version of course.Could you please help us with this issue?
-
@Lorenzo-Pintore Suunto knows about this one. I have the same.
-
@Tomas5 Suunto knows about this one.
-
@smedberg GREAT SPOT!!! Sorry for the caps, but I hope more people see it. It will be a thing people complain about if they don’t know the fix.
Thanks so much!
