Suunto phone notification about battery.
-
Hey. I don’t know if that’s Android app updated or what but this night when my Race 2 was under 20% battery, after losing every 1% I had notification on my phone to charge it. It never happened to me before. I was awaken that battery level is 17% and I should charge, and later when I was waking up it notificated my phone with sound it’s 16% and need to charge watch. I was searching app to turn it off but I don’t see. Probably I could with disable Suunto app from notifications, but I want get rid off battery percentage losing notification. I didn’t

@Tami999 same for me, very annoying especially when I am trying to drain the battery on purpose. I turned my bluetooth off for now.

same here
Nice feature but a bit too pushy. I turned off the notification category -
I found somewhere in Android phone, Suunto notification, separate option about battery level. Weird that it happened just like that, I use Suunto watches over two years, and started month ago. So far problem solved :P.
Just dig into Suunto app on phone, notification and find info about low battery inform or something. -
@Tami999 In my OnePlus notification settings I can’t find any mention for battery level. The closest thing I can imagine is “important notifications”. I will give it a chance but I can’t help thinking what else I might end up missing.

@BrunoH I also have a Oneplus and found the setting under Notifications -> Suunto
There are multiple categories including “Watch Battery Reminder”. I turned this one off. -
@surfboomerang This is weird. That’s exactly where I was looking at but mine does not have “Watch Battery Reminder”, but the nagging notification disappeared when I turned off the “Important Notifications”.
Well, mission accomplished!

@Tami999
I have the same issue. I don’t really want to disable the notification. Let’s hope this will be fixed with the next update.
