Q4 2025 Firmware Update Infos?
-
Infos about the release?
-
@GiPFELKiND Ist was angekündigt?
-
@Sportsfreund @GiPFELKiND
Ich habe hier im Forum gelesen es soll wahrscheinlich erst im Januar kommen. Keine Ahnung wie sicher diese Information ist. -
I’m curious to see if Suunto will stick with the Q4 designation. The last update was called “2025 November Rain Release”.
Moving away from Q1…Q4 would relieve Suunto of any time pressure.

I would be surprised if there is an update before the first week of January. It is extremely rare for new software to come out the week of the holidays. If it crashed watches they would be in big trouble and potentially cut into family times.
-
I think @cosme.costa mentioned the other day, rumours were circulating in Suunto telegram channel that update was postponed to January. I would not bet on the release before Christmas holidays, everybody needs time to relax and recharge.

-
@Stavrogin it already happened once

-
@GiPFELKiND You will know when it is released.
-
I would prefer later without new bugs than rushed with new bugs. I now no software release is bug free, but better not hurry and test properly. And it is holidays and even programmers have personal life. They need free time too.
-
Suunto often has a rough time after releasing an update. Quite serious bugs were often discovered, undetected (as usual) during the testing phase. Public RC tests never materialized, so it’s best to wait patiently instead of childishly asking for it.
Everyone probably has a calendar and knows people are expecting updates.
-
@Brad_Olwin thats funny… Isnt it?
-
@GiPFELKiND Yes:)
-
AI should be in the next update.
Otherwise, stopping to sync every time might be what keeps Suunto behind the pack. 555+ -

Only if Suunto hates its customers
-
@Kraisun-Tunta we don’t need AI in everything. Please don’t.

@OutdoorMan Okay then update below
Adds a tracks weight.
Adds more details to a course including cut-off times and aid stations.
Adds a tracks battery life details and performance.
Adds color filters to the watch settings.
Adds the new watch face. -
@Kraisun-Tunta with that I agree

-
@Tomas5 With the amount of bugs, I guess the bugs will get fixed first with the summer update

Adds more details to a course including cut-off times and aid stations.This is already possible, add waypoints and select type as aid stations and you can include the cut off times in titles or description.
Adds color filters to watch settings.
Don’t understand this one.

How do we see this during the race on the watch? I’d love to have this kind of information - not for cutoff times because I am not that slow, but for my target times for each aid station. I think having target times optionally assigned to waypoints and tracking behind / ahead ETE times against these goals would be an awesome competitive feature, perhaps similar to Garmin Pace Pro.
