It doesnt seem to matter which sport mode is on (running, hiking, even crosstraining) and its 10 clicks away for me (latest software, Finnish language, but also if English)…
Which watch model? People seem to be talking about different models.

-
Right, vertical 2.
-
@Tami999 i was hoping i just accidentaly closed report somehow because i didn’t saw it too. Hope for best tomorow.
-
I can provide one with the start screen of the new morning report

Below that you’ll get a nice bar chart breakdown of your sleep stages
-
@ChrisA thanks for sharing, i am excited to see it tomorow. It looks nice.

@Stefan-Kersting AFAIK, the battery drain is definitely related to BT connections, my battery is much better with the new firmware. I have my personal V2 running production firmware and a test V2 running field test firmware (newer than production). Both seem to have similar battery drain and much more inline with specs.
You will lose everything with a factory reset. Custom sport modes, history for HRV, etc. The training will sync back from the app.

Same for me. Not convenient at all.

@Egika where can I find these features? I cannot see them in my evening run?
Edit… sorry I saw this is for R2 and V2… -

@Stefan-Kersting There are not really fancy new features in this update, only the merge of the two software streams and bug fixes.
So I guess they focused on the bugs this time. But as it seems unfortunately with limited sucess
plus there is the GCT and vertical oscillation introduced. But maybe not fancy enough…
Is it available only with a HR belt with running dynamics or with the watch itself ?
-
@Mi_chael with the watch no need for a belt
-
After my run after work today, I have to tell that I had problems with my connection of the Suunto HR belt… it looses the connection all the time… I don’t know what I did wrong… two days ago with last firmware, everything was fine

Is there possibly a small lag introduced on activating and deactivating alarms? If you press the button, the switch on the screen moves immedeatly, but the “on” or “off” label - however useful they are - need a second to follow.
If I do the same with enabling/disabling DND, the switch and the label change at the same time… -
@SuperFlo75 mine had a disconnection today but no sign in the HR graph due to internal memory
I have un paired and paired the belt to see how it behave next run -

Race S updated overnight. No problems. Morning Report with weather is nice
-
@ChrisA
Did you do anything to get the weather update in the morning review? -
@Tami999 nothing new in my report either
-
@peegee it’s part of the new report nothing to configure on my side
-
@Egika Sorry, I missed to add I judged it from the “Generation 1” perspective. On the Race S I unfortunately don’t get these new features

[Bug] Vertical (gen 1) 2.48.16: black flash when waking via buttons
After updating my Suunto Vertical (gen 1) to 2.48.16 (“November Rain”), waking the watch with any button causes a brief full-black flash.
Repro: idle watchface → press any button → short full-black → target screen.
Expected: smooth wake with no black flash.
Notes: happens on multiple watchfaces; persists after reboot; didn’t occur before 2.48.16.
