      @AYHAN-YILDIZ thats a misinformation. I have a Vertical 2 and checked it at the Moment running the last Firmware. O2 measurement manually works as expected. 1000125826.jpg

        I think this has already been discussed, I don’t know if here or somewhere else, but I can’t find it.

        In any case, I’m reporting this bug for pool swimming:

        The interval timer isn’t working.

        (I missed this information while swimming last night)

        Suunto 9 Peak Pro (all black version)
        Suunto Race S (gravel gray)

          i suppose it depends on whether your motivation is to have a better watch, or feel better about your purchase.

          personally i welcome the moaning. public complaints are the only bargaining chip users have (beyond returning the watch), and where better to do it than *.suunto.com!

            they also give bad troubleshooting advice. it’s pretty easy to spot them.

              @dankcushions I took over moderating the sub after this point (an interesting story actually) and have been actively removing obvious AI bot comments and posts. If any still remain, report them and they’ll show up in the mod queue, from which I can handle them from there.

                @atoponce I think the other 2 said it well. You can’t teach a shitzu to hunt. (actually I am not sure about that, but it seems to work well with the picture I am trying to draw.) People are not going to change their behaviors or learn to be more thoughtful because it is the right thing to do. We are at a very selfish time in history where bad behavior is reinforced every day.

                We live in a society where people have little or no attention span and are dare I say selfish to the point where they do not want to do a search because they think that the unique answers they get for their questions on reddit will be different. Secondly people seem to not mind that because the majority of their requests get answered or agreed with. Thirdly the point below about downvoting, that drives me mad. I do not understand when we because a society where if we do not agree with someone we will downvote them even if what they are saying is fact or there is no right answer it is just opinion in a situation where opinions have been asked for. For all I know it could be bots or Garmin fanboys having a laugh.

                I still go to the reddit and try to help if I can. I will get fatigue there sometimes, but TBH I have had that here lately as well. There are amazing little gems of wisdom in most of the topics if you read them, but lately I just have to stop reading because of all the complaining on and on about their thing that like on reddit has been asked or reported a million times.

                Suunto Vertical, Vertical 2, Race, Race 2, Race S and Run. Rocking the Vertical 2 at the moment.

                  @Stavrogin I agree so much with what you say. This forum for me has been brilliant. I have learnt loads and the are so many helpful and knowledgeable people.

                  But lately the repetitive complains and often arrogant comments make it hard work reading at times.

                  I came from Garmin, have a Wahoo also. And couldn’t be happier with the V2, or the V1 before it. Brilliant tools. And the only “tool” I have a slight emotional attachment to.

                  Maybe it is because I am older and remember the days of paper maps, measuring distance with maps wheel and counting contour lines. But bloody hell what ever brand you choose we have amazing kit out there.

                      @Audaxjoe I can see what you are saying and while I am not impacted by the battery drain and other errors, I can understand why the mood and communication changed over the last months.
                      I feel growing frustration inside the community and especially from those that bought the new, more expensive models. And I can fully understand the frustration as Suunto claimed to have fixed problems when they weren’t and new problems were added. There are people here on this forum that put so much effort into troubleshooting for Suunto and trying to solve bugs. Despite that, no official appreciation, communication or road map from Suunto developers and the forum moderators have to somehow carry the can for that behavior and lack of open communication. Of course, costumers are upset after what happened over the last months…

                        @brave_dave I’m one of the new ones, so maybe I’m one of the problems for the negativity on this forum. If so here is my honest apology.

                        I’m happy with my Vertical 2. I think it’ll last the next 5, maybe 6 years and that’s what I was going for. I think a watch shouldn’t cost more than €100,- per year 🙂

                        It was quite a jump to pay €630,- for a watch. For me that’s not cheap. I was a bit sceptical with the tilted screens and the battery drain. It felt like taking a risk.

                        On both issues I was affected. The screen tilt was not big enough to send it back and (maybe) get one back with more problems. The battery drain seems to be over, while I don’t use the H10 anymore since it seems to be causing it.

                        Maybe what sounded negative on the forum was a honest attempt to make the watch work for me and match my expectations. It does now! The only ‘scare’ I have right now is that Suunto will release a new watch in the next 2 or 3 years that will match my wishes on the navigation, without upgrading older models. But the Vertical 2 does the job OK. I think this is not Suunto’s style and I’ll get updates in the future.

                        If this was negative as well, here are some positives: ++++++ ♥
