Hi everyone, as you probably already know (I think I read something about this in the forum before), the ressourcen widget never drops below 75%. With my old Race, Race S, and Vertical, I always got well below 50% during a normal workday. Add to that a tough workout, and the Body Battery would be down to 10%. Suunto has changed something in the algorithm with the new software and the two new models. The displayed values no longer match my perception and experience with the Vertical 1 and the other watches at all. When will there be a fix for this? The way it calculates and works now is completely unusable!
Race 2 was released at the end of August. Plenty of time to address and resolve this problem!

Haha I totally feel you! At this point, I think the “resources” widget is just here to make me feel better — like a tiny motivational coach who lies to me all day. 😆 Mine also refuses to go below 75%, even after a long day, two coffees, zero sleep, and a run that nearly killed me.

Honestly, I’ve stopped trusting it and just focus on the workout, sleep, HRV, and that sweet morning report. At least those seem to know what planet I’m living on. Maybe Suunto’s “resources” are just measuring hope levels instead of energy.

@Kraisun-Tunta Same here, but I also don’t trust HRV and sleep duration as both are not working reliable after the last updates for me.
So I disabled everything and only use training load for recovery. Better battery lifetime and I don’t have to wear the watch all the time 👍

That is indeed not good. I use the resources primarily for the recovery factor at night.
I find that these show very well how well I slept during my race. If I have a lot of green bars, this reflects my sleep much better than any sleep times, deep sleep, etc.
Hopefully nothing has been changed in the procedure here. Maybe new watches need 2 to 3 weeks before they find their HRV baseline.
It would be a shame if that no longer worked.

Unfortunately, nothing changes. Suunto would need to change the algorithm. Even if they copied the old one, it would be better than the current one.
