Cold Plunge/Exposure Problems - Temp/Altimeter Sensor Broken
-
Good day Suunto Community
I want to know if anyone has the issue where the Race S does not own up to the specs with regards to cold plunges/exposure.
I wear my watch to monitor my HR and estimate temp of the plunge (as body temp has an influence).
I have had 3 x Race S watches where the temp/altimeter sensor breaks and never recovers. The rest of the watch seems to be fine, just a bit slow after the plunge.
Besides the plunge I only swim with my watch, I do not Sauna or expose the watch to heat after, as I warm up with warm clothes and room temperature.
Kind Regards

@Reino-von-Wielligh Suunto service repairs have been looking at this issue for 20 weeks, and there is no resolution yet. I handed in my watch on 03 July 2025 at Ultimo Service center in South Africa, who sent the watch to Finland.
Does any user have the same problem with the Race S?
