Different intensity zones (HF) Cycling & Running
-
Hello everyone
Today, I wanted to set different heart rate ranges/zones in the training settings. For example, a maximum heart rate of 182 for running and a maximum heart rate of 174 for cycling. When I set 174 for cycling, the maximum heart rate for running and the maximum heart rate default for all sports is also adjusted to 174. Shouldn’t these be set individually and independently of each other? Or am I doing something wrong?

@pgrob I don’t think you can set different max HR for each sport; rather, you can adjust the zones differently for each sport, but the max HR stays the same.

@MdzOtt Okay, thanks for the quick response.
Then I’ll take over max. HF and adjust the remaining zones. -
The max HR is your max HR. There can only be one.

It is the top of the last HR zone, so it doesn’t matter what HR you can reach per sport, as you set the lower end of that last zone to your LT2 of that sport. -
in the watch u have to fix it up…
extra zones for Bike… i have too…
only z2 z3 z4 other limits/ i changed- max Heart both same -
@dani_degi
That’s exactly how I’ve set it up now. It works. -
For running pace zones are used.
For cycling there are power zones.
For trail running/skiing there is HR.Don’t mix up different concepts for different sports, and you’re golden. E.g. for running AeT is crucial, for cycling they go by FTP, etc.
