OK, there are a few bugs in the works. my favorites so far:

      • don’t add maps to download if you haven’t already selected a wifi network… (like when you are in a hotel room and getting ready for a hike) then you will get the note - “can’t add wifi network when downloading maps” (which the watch is not doing cuz it needs teh wifi)

      • not sure if the watch now links to multiple sensors of a sort - multiple PMs etc. in software v 2.41.48

      • haven’t upgraded because I kept getting the “busy” signal when it automatically updated so I went back a step

      • suunto link doesn’t recognize teh watch

Is there going to be an update soon to fix these cheerful not so amusing problems?

You can use your phone as a hotspot for downloads, that is what I do when traveling. A soft reset should fix the issue you had.

You need newer firmware I believe for multiple sensors.

Not clear what is happening here but there is a bug with Busy showing in the app, simply press a couple buttons until the watch responds and all will be ok.

Suuntolink does not work anymore with newer generation watches and has not for a long time if you are trying to connect to a PC

@Brad_Olwin About Suuntolink: I thought the new charger enables the watch to connect via USB - or is just the Hardware capable and the software functionality will follow?

@VoiGAS I thought that too, since it was mentioned in some reviews of the Race 2 and there are those two “pins” even on the “older” watches like the Race 1. I think it would be a good option for installing firmware (if there are problems with a watch) or loading maps and music - but at least for the older watches you would probably need a new charger/cable then (there don’t seem to be any corresponding pins on the charger of the Race 1)

            Currently Race I

Yes, it does. On the Suunto Run music/podcasts, etc can be downloaded. On the Race 2 and Vertical 2 don’t know if there are plans for the USB connection.
