Discovery option: a question
-
A friend of mine asked me a question about the Discovery option in the Connectivity menu, but I wasn’t sure how to answer.
In theory, once the sensors and SA have been paired with the watch, you can disable it. I tried doing this and at first glance it seemed to work, but after a while (a long time) SA was no longer able to connect to the watch. However, SA claims that this switch must be enabled, which left me puzzled because it worked even if it was off.
One more thing. After SA fails to connect to the watch, if I use the Find My Phone feature, the connection with SA is restored. -
@Hari-Seldon good question and also interested in the answer I have it disabled also not sure about side effect last time find my watch was not working but it is the only issue I got
Curious about battery impact also -
@Hari-Seldon I have it off on the watch and have no issues with the app. I was experimenting due to the issues with multiple sensors and battery drain, but it didn’t make any difference, so I left it off anyway.

Gosh, no one here (7 people) can get it to work
That said not an issue that prevents using the watch…
