Climb Guidance v2

I took a walk. My recorded route.
I can’t figure out these climb guidanse2 screens. Is there a detailed document or something about them? (I didn’t get it from Joaquin Pérez. If possible, another -
@safari This topic has been discussed before, I remember posting about it here (https://forum.suunto.com/post/173074) and here (https://forum.suunto.com/post/173113).
I haven’t found better than Joaquin’s video.
3 weeks ago I did a mountain race where I spent at least 75% of the time with Climb Guidance on screen. It was a route with waypoints, and I selected the option showing only 1 waypoint, basically the distance and the profile (ascent/descent) remaining to my next aid station. I must confess it worked quite well.Pro Tip, watch Joaquin’s video in detail (e.g. pause, try to read and understand each screen the info in each screen, take notes). It helped me a lot. Other than that, I don’t think there is anything else.

@safari Unless you were using a navigation route with waypoints, you were actually looking at Climb Guidance v1.
See details here: https://www.suunto.com/sports/News-Articles-container-page/suuntos-climb-guidance-prepares-you-for-the-terrain-ahead/
The numbers on the screen should be pretty self-explanatory when you use them on a steep terrain - just looking at how these numbers change makes it clear what they mean. But basically it shows the remaining distance of the shown elevation profile, and, depending on the mode, the ascent and the descent, and/or the remaining ascent - all relevant to the shown part of the elevation profile.
In the case of Climb Guidance v2, breaking of the end-to-end elevation profile into “segments” is done based not on individual climbs and descents but bases on where waypoints are on the route. The v2 mode is only useful in a context of a long endurance event with check points or aid stations.

Thanks for the information.
I hadn’t used it much before, but I used it in the city the other day.
I tried it on my saved route in the city.
I even took a screenshot while walking.
I realized this now when I saw the photos.- Music control didn’t work with my phone.
- It gave me an off-route warning even though I was on route.
- I couldn’t figure out the logic behind values like 0 up arrow 15 or 0 up arrow 0.
Some photos (taken at night and while walking)

@safari Yes, what you show in the screenshots is Climb Guidance v1. The numbers under the elevation profile are the remaining distances, the amount of vertical change (ascent or descent) in meters completed and the amount of vertical change remaining. The numbers might not make much sense because the terrain is so flat. On a flat terrain, Suunto elevation data is likely to be meaningless.
I am not sure what is the number at the very top though. It is supposed to be the average slope grade as we can see in some screenshots. But in other case it shows meters. Perhaps that’s the absolute altitude in meters. I don’t recall seeing that on my watch.

@sky-runner
Yes, these are the issues I’m having trouble with, too.
It’s a track that starts with a descent, continues flat, and then continues with an ascent and descent.
Sometimes it shows the ETA at the top. Sometimes it shows an angle value.
Still, the information you provided was helpful.
Thank you.
