Vertical 2: Inclined screen panel

Hello y’all. I have been hearing lot’s of Suunto Vertical 2 units having inclined screen panel. Including mine. This is the topic for everyone who have had an experience with a V2 with this kind of screen panel being not level.

So here’s mine:

How widespread of a problem is this? Check your watch and join this thread.

Can you also take picture with some analog watch face like forest analog. For me 6 o’clock is quite in middle compared to baro hole.
I did check my V1 with same WF and result is same. Both are slightly tilted clockwise. Maybe 1-2mm max. It doesn’t bother me.

Of course I already did and they asked to return the watch. I am just amazed how Suunto will always come up with defects of that kind nobody couldnt even think of existing. Like manufacturing a car and not aligning the wheels from factory. And I say this because it seems not to be the only unit.

Yes, Suunto has step up their game but still, many of us get dissappointed buying their product.

It is not possible to be a software issue. Individual pixels can not be relocated if the panel is installed with cant.

Reason for the topic is to gather information how widespread this is and then make a decision should I give it an another chance. And to inform others to check their watch before it’s too late.

@Olli-FIN Before reading this thread, I didn’t feel like the display on my V2 was crooked. I was comparing the watch body itself without the V1 and V2 straps with the same watch faces and it seems to me that both watch faces are slightly to the right. This is very difficult to measure and I think it depends a lot on the watch face you choose.

It is hard to measure, even to take a photo of that.
I am noticed on pages where are clear horizontal lines, like the step counter or in setting menu etc…

Also my wife has a race s, side by side it is clear that mine is not straight while the race s is perfect.

Here you go. This method is not as good as the method in my opening post with ruler.

But it can be seen here too, yes.
