Why is there not Lactate Threshold Widget on the Race S? In the Comparison Table from Suunto.com it is written that the Race S also has Lactate Threshold Detection! 1000030744.png

@m.-h. On my Race I can find that value with (as you’re speaking German I don’t need to translate it 😉 )

        • Scroll to the “Fortschritt” entry on your watch (it shows your current CTL), select it.
        • Now scroll down and down and down…After all “Lauf Schätzung” entries you finally can find the “Laktatgrenzwert”.

        Hope it works for you

@Markus-Gietzen thank you so much for responding. sadly there is no such thing on the Race S. After the Run Prognosis there comes only the Settings (Einstellungen) Menu.1000030774.jpg

@m.-h. Yes, that’s exactly the place where I find my Lactate-threshold value. Now the last chance would be that it hasn’t been detected yet. I run with ZoneSense enabled on the watch and thus with a heart-rate belt. In case it’s similar to how Garmin does it, it would need an HRM belt (no optical) to detect it.

Maybe someone else can enlighten us, what’s needed to get it to work.

Edit: there is also this app https://www.suunto.com/de-de/sports/News-Articles-container-page/test-your-fitness-with-suunto/
but I didn’t do it that way and I don’t have it installed.

I don’t have it on my Race S as well.

I’m not sure but I think that it is only available on the Race albeight it should be the same according to the comparison table and manual…

@Markus-Gietzen tried all of that. I am running exclusively with my Suunto Smart HRM belt. All kinds of Runs and also max. Effort Runs. Also did the Anaerobic Threshold Test. I am convinced that the Widget does not exist on the Race S. And I would like an official Answer from Suunto and a Correction of the Comparison Table. It is just false advertising in my eyes

@valeR yes, I have contacted the customer service about it. They are convinced that the watch just has not figured the Threshold out yet and that it will be appearing when it determined it. But they do not seems to understand that there is no Widget for it.
