Suunto 9 more accessible barometer data

Every time i want to view barometer data, i have to do too many passages, i hope that barometer data will be more accessible in next fw release. Also there is no boarometer arrow in any watch face…

Why not bringing it also to the configurable graphic screens in an activity? Would be useful to watch in the mountains!

@sartoric Don’t you know that baro data is weather related? When you’re on the mountains it’s very useful!

Sure , but for me it’s enough to set storm alarm … and watching the sky
I’m not a meteorologist, so I don’t think that I could read the hpa fluctuation in a very useful way and I prefer to keep the eye on my track

Assuming you go out for a couple of days and have no internet connection anymore, which simply could be the case in some Swiss alpine valleys.
So no updated weather report. The barometer goes down, but not that fast to raise a warning. IMHO it could be useful to have access on that data on a long activity without having the need to stop activity and go to the baro view.BTW: In the Dolomites in Italy, you can have a quick thunderstorm with hail and snow even in august, with minor signs that the weather may change one hour before. Hopefully not on the summit, put bivy bag over and wait, that’s all. 2h and the sun is out again with almost no signs what happened just before.
Same thing at the Monte Rosa massiv in Switzerland. Strange quick weather changes from Italy, no storm warning with the Suunto watch, no forecast before! But with the difference that if you are out there, you can easily get lost on the wide glaciers, because you will see almost nothing anymore.No device will give you a warning you could really rely on!
You get used to the weather and get a better and better overall feeling for specific weather situations in a certain area.
Every information you could get therefore will make a better picture! -

)Several years ago, no watches, no barometer no anything, I was caught in a light snow storm around Rosetta refuge (dolomites) but honestly I don’t think that having baro data available, I would have been able to avoid it.
Of course I agree it’s useful for long activities (many days) as a forecast.
Maybe ,I’m not sure, when we’ll be able to add graph to custom sport modes we could add alt/baro graph to it
