The new passcode feature is great, but I have two suggestions for improving it in case the watch is lost or stolen.
- Add a contact phone number
If I lose my watch, say because the strap breaks, the passcode feature will prevent anyone from easily using or selling it. However, they also have no way to find the owner and return it.
I suggest adding an option to add a phone number in case of loss in the passcode settings. This phone number should be displayed on the lock screen.
- Make it more difficult to brute force code selection.
Currently, if I enter the code incorrectly five times, the code is only blocked for 3 minutes. If I enter the code incorrectly five more times, the blocking period remains the same - 3 minutes.
This makes it quite easy to unlock the watch using brute force.
Without spending a lot of time each day, the code can be cracked in 2-3 weeks at most. Generally, it can be done in a few days.
I think it makes sense to increase the locking time for repeated incorrect entries, so that the maximum is 24 or even 72 hours. In this case, brute-forcing will be impractical. And, combined with the contact phone number suggested above, it will be easier to return the watch to the owner.

It would be good if you could scroll down from 9 as well as up from 0.
