Race S - Issue - Manual laps not displayed when autolap is turned on.

Coming fresh from Garmin (fenix 7s pro) I am quite shocked to see that manual laps are STILL not properly displayed on the watch when autolap is turned on even if you are deactivating them durinh activity. They seem fine when uploaded to Suunto or Strava servers.
This issue has been reported at least since 2023, any plans for a fix soon? This is so frustrating if you have started an activity, realising too late that autolap has not been turned off before hand…
