Map touch screen
-
My map screen during workouts doesn’t respond well.
It seems to respond better when not in a workout.
Has anybody experienced this? -
@peegee I don’t own Race 2, but I’d guess this is probably because the screen is wet from from sweat.
If the map was designed well, we wouldn’t need to touch the screen. In fact I often have to disable touch because of the sweat, especially when wearing long sleeve running shirt; otherwise the map becomes unusable.
Arguably, it should be sufficient to just zoom in and out with the crown. But with the map details quickly disappearing, we have to pan the map with touch.

@sky-runner I often use the touch to check for surrounding paths, find it very useful.

@peegee Why don’t you simply zoom out by rotating the crown? That should be easier than panning the map around, especially when moving fast
I know that may be a rhetorical question because trails disappear from the map when zooming out, so the question is more towards the Suunto team.
