I’m also trying to fully discharge the battery because the consumption data keeps getting worse.
I’m attaching a chart from the last recharge, which only shows two hours of recorded activity. I have HR tracking enabled all day, but notifications are turned off.

Based on what you wrote and this table, you should record consumption at around 54%. 12 x 4 (normal consumption without notifications and HR - max. 2% + 2% wrist HR for 24 hours) and approx. 6% for 2 hours of activity. The consumption should be at around 45% on the last day. This is clearly an issue. In comparison, I have not noticed anything like this on my SV. The consumption is similar to what it was before the update. If more people are experiencing this issue, then history is repeating itself from a year ago. I hope for all of you that Suunto is aware of the problem and will solve it quickly.

I have also noticed excessive battery drain since the last firmware update. I used to have a drain of around 5% per 24 hours without any activity (since the fixes made a few months ago: https://forum.suunto.com/post/158362).
Since the last update, I’m now at over 10% with the same watch settings.
It’s a bit disappointing to have these excessive battery drain issues again.

Mine is similar to yours getting worse, in previous 24 hour it went down 24% and in last 24 hours went down 27% …. Basically every hour it drops 1%

My battery consumption is almost the same as yours. Without any activity, it uses around 6.5% on average. I wear it 24/7, keep sleep tracking and HR on, but notifications are off.

Did anyone check the battery consumption in airplane mode? 🤔

44% to 4% in last 24 hours wtf is going on? I have tried every possible fix to that this forum and fb groups have recommended and nothing works. Is suunto aware of this issue? Is there a fix coming for it ? My suunto vertical which was so great when it was released is now nothing more than an Apple Watch that needs constant charging. I have been with suunto for many years but this is a disgrace. My old ambit 3 peak doesn’t have these issues. I love the suunto app and how suunto ecosystem is I don’t want to change but this is borderline unusable. Watch drains more than 1% per hour when not even doing anything and every battery sucking setting disabled. What a joke

You can stop (throught parameters) and restart the watch. It seems it has solved temporarily the problem… (now 4% in 24h as before).
But sure there is something to correct, because before restart i was at more than 12% per 24h.
I hope that suunto team is avare of that and it will be solved soon.

what do you mean with “You can stop (throught parameters) and restart the watch”, doing a hard reset?
                        thanks!

I’ve decided to send my watch back to suunto after talking to suunto support. Let’s see what they come back with.

@gone-troppo Be patient, in total it’s been more than two months since the first repair, now it’s been another month since I sent it to be repaired for the second time, and they don’t know when it will be ready, Suunto’s repair service is a disgrace… it’s going to be the last time I buy a product from this brand, in my case Suunto Vertical Titanium

                                  In English:
Settings > General > Power off

But you can simply achieve the same by holding the top button for about 12 seconds to restart / soft reset.

Oh no I don’t want to hear this what the heck!!! I don’t know what else to do my $1000 plus watch I bought two years ago went through another 36% battery in last 24 hours it’s stuffed. I will likely be moving away from sunnto after this watch as well. My ambit 3 peak is a more reliable unit then the vertical more than 10 years old.
