Resources bug V2.46.4
-
@helgonet12 One last thing that comes to my mind: is your resting HR and max HR set up correctly in your watch?
-
@inkognito yes, I have the same as on my vertical. Also updated my Zones. Did my first run with Race2 and I have no Zone sense data in app or during the run on the watch.? Do you know if you have to run a couple of times before it shows up?
-
@helgonet12 Zonesense should work from the first run. But it needs long enough run (first 10 minutes are used for calibration) and you need to use a HR belt. But you probably already know that, right?
-
@inkognito yes I know and my run was about 50min and puching my self between 60-80%. No zone sense data on the watch 🥲
-
@nicovoim I got a Race 2 to play with for a few days and have a same issue. Resources are super high every day and I have noticed there is no stress measured. I.e. previously there was usually stress measured directly after an activity, now I am just gaining resources : ) I don’t think it’s calibrating, as it was already mentioned, I think it isn’t working properly.
-
Went for a easy relaxing 5K run today. The run felt nice but I think Suunto over estimated the “relaxing” part a bit
Resources went up from 24 % to 68 % while being active. Someone else seen this ?
But hey! At least the run wasn’t taged as Vo2Max
-
@timecode it’s been doing silly things these few days for me as well. After long run I was still recovering and during work. Then during night I was active.
But, I think it’s starting since today to act like it should be, like magic after midnight. Yesterday it was totally incorrect, today so far absolutely spot on.
-
Is this a bug or does it need time to adjust? Just got Race 2 and its been showing 79% for 4 days, yesterday i rolled back to previouse update and it finally changed, now the watch automaticly updated to new patch again.
-
@Pål i wish someone from Suunto would answer this since we all just are guessing. I have not encountered this behavior before and my guess is that it is a bug.
-
Now after a week resources are starting to be better but it’s not on the level of Race 1/Race S which were spot on. It does give too high score after sleeping 97-99% everyday. My work days and activities are now described as active but when it supposed to say passive it’s recovering and that leads to higher scores. And I haven’t been stressed at all for the past week according to Race 2
that’s not the case
-
@nicovoim yesterday when i put my watch on the charger it said I was stressed during the charge. Feels like the recourses differ from previous race 1 in a bad way. At least for me.
-
Today I put the watch on the charger at 8:30 and the recourses was 95. At 12:00 the recourses was 68. Hmm ok it goes down even when not wearing the watch??? And it goes down much more than if I wear the watc???. The last 10 days it fluctuates between 99 and 85 during the whole day.
At 12 I went for an 1 hour quite intense run and the recourses went down to 37. And 2 hours later it is 80 agan. And now at 21:00 it shows 78 and I guess tomorrow morning it is 99 again, Anyone else having these strange numbers?
-
There is possibly some bug in app too.
This are my resources from this week. Mon-Thu is Suunto 5. Really strange have it rise every day. Than Fri-Sat is new Suunto Race 2. Today 90-99% but i did more than hour of fast walking. I am sure that with old watch i would have much less than 90% at evening. Even more strange that Mon-Thu i don’t have fully synced data in app, hr and sleep is missing since september 6. I willl see after week or two if it will really adapt base on HRV
-
Has there been an update on the resources algorithm? It’s now 1 PM, and the resources have decreased from about 98% to 58%. However, I have today used the minimum HR , unlike when I used the ‘old trick’ of setting the HR to 7 or 8 bpm higher.

@jannis any Statement since the watch release from suunto? Any official Statement? @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos @inkognito
