Suunto Athletics 7 loop strap
-
@danyel imho it started to show signs of dirt quite early. It’s easy to clean and dries fast, but it doesn’t look as clean and new after one month of daily usage. I’d buy a black one if I’d buy now.

@Stefano-M64 at least for me the stress on this part happens when you open the strap and it hits the spring.

mine stops at the first velcro pad, maybe because I can pull the watch out very easily (L size)

Just got the black one and I have to say this is soo good. I have all of them except the yellow one and black strap + black R2 looks great!

@Hari-Seldon Yeah, I got an email notification and then immediately ordered one. Shipping took 2 days, impressive!

Also looks good on “normal” watches like the Citizen Promaster Sky

2 days ago saw this thread and yesterday… this metallic part just moved out of stap

I used superglue + pliers and so far it looks like hold strong. Scratched a bit that small metal but i hope its gonna hold it strong. Used this strap maybe in total 2-3 weeks.
@VoiGAS
What a great combo! Looks fantastic! If I would not use sportwatch/smartwatch I would definitely use this combo for myself! -
@v.sacre This looks like a common problem. I have the same strap, and the metallic part also detached after just a few weeks of use. I put it back and squeezed it with pliers, and so far, many weeks later, it stays attached.
But I should say that overall I am disappointed with this strap and will not buy another one. The main problem is that it quickly stretched out and lost some of original elasticity. The longer strap is now borderline too long for me, but the short strap is too short.
Next time I’ll buy Garmin Ultrafit strap which is higher quality and more comfortable. I also used Abanen hook and loop strap from Amazon with Race and still use with Race S. Even inexpensive Abanen strap is higher quality, in my opinion, than this Suunto strap.

Longer strap is too long for me, I mean this metal part is too close to watch case. Short is too short like You said. I chooses to use short and over time it’s scratched out and its longer over time of use. But I agree. A bit expensive for this type of strap. I would buy 3, maybe 4 of them for same price without logo.
