I feel like an idiot, being a tech engineer, but is there a way to toggle between cumulative steps and daily steps in the widget? I can’t find a way to see the daily steps.

I do turn off the watch each night, and I’m told that could be a reason. But wouldn’t the steps reset the next day regardless?

      Thanks!

@Brendan-A.-MacWade not sure if steps reset with the watch turned off.
Maybe the trigger for reset is the minute rolling over from 23:59 to 0:00.
If this is not happening, maybe steps are not deleted.

How about just not switching your watch off?

@Egika Thanks for confirming. I appreciate the answer, but I don’t accept Suunto’s logic. Garmin watches reset the daily step count each day regardless of whether the watch is powered on. This failure to reset is not going to encourage me to keep the watch on at night (nor wear it). If I wanted an always-on device, I would be wearing a device around my finger. I think this warrants a feature update. But I’ll refrain from submitting it due to my lack of seniority here.
