Not able to change complications on the default watch face?
-
Hi,
I’m new to Suunto watches and the Ocean in particular. I just got my watch a couple of days ago and been fiddling with all the settings and stuff. I notice that on the default watch face, there are three ‘complications’ that apparently should be customisable, namely the arc around the face, and two fields inside it. The arc is displaying the surface time in blue and the no-fly time in red, the top field shows the surface time in hours, and the bottom field shows altitude.
The bottom field I am able to change, but the arc and the top field are stubbornly just about the surface time, no matter what I try to change them into. And it’s not like the options are greyed out or anything, I can choose any of the available options, but it will simply have no effect and the complications remain what they are. Is this a bug or a feature? I did go diving pretty much the first thing after I got the watch, so I was wondering if the surface time is overriding any other display options by design for a while, but it was like 2 days ago already and I still can’t change them…
I have all the latest updates to the software and I tried a soft reset (reboot by pressing and holding all the buttons), but it didn’t change anything. I also have a couple of other faces downloaded from the Suunto app, and I’ve tried switching back and forth between the default face and some of the other ones, but doesn’t make any difference. The non-default faces allow changing all the available complications no problem, but the default face is actually the best looking and I like the data-visualisation of the surface time versus no-fly time, and I don’t think that’s available in any of the other faces; I just don’t want to use TWO out of the three complications for showing essentially the same thing.
Any ideas?

@MacKaris if you did a dive, surface time and no fly time will be there, and only disappear after few days going back to the complication you selected. I believe this is the behavior for safety reasons.
