(Resolved) Sync issue after 2.40.44 – Suunto Vertical + iOS - (Server Issue)

Hi everyone,
Since updating to firmware 2.40.44 on my Suunto Vertical two days ago, I’m having today intermittent sync issues with the Suunto App on iOS:
Some activities are transferred, but they often fail to load fully:
→ I cannot edit tags or access ZoneSense analysis, even though the activity appears in the app.
It seems worse when syncing multiple activities:
→ For example, today I recorded two activities; both appeared in the app but were partially processed.
Yesterday, with only one activity, everything worked correctly.
What I’ve already done:Removed the watch from iOS Bluetooth Deleted and reinstalled Suunto App Rebooted the iPhone and re-paired the watch → Issue persists.
This never happened with firmware 2.40.38.
Is anyone experiencing the same?
Suunto team: would a rollback be possible, or is a fix planned soon?Thanks,

@bruno.tanqueray I have the same issue. my vertical is not updated yet. sync to the app is OK, but uploadint to the cloud is still in progress. so I assume it is cloud issue, not fw issue

Hi everyone,
After facing sync issues with firmware 2.40.44 on my Suunto Vertical (iOS), I used the hidden OTA method to rollback to firmware 2.40.38 via the developer menu (Settings > General > About > hold lower button).
The downgrade worked fine, and I also activated the option to keep the version for 30 days.
However, the problem remains:
Activities are syncing incompletely I can’t edit tags or access ZoneSense data The issue seems worse when syncing multiple activities Even with 2.40.38, the app behaves exactly the same
I’ve done a full reset procedure:
Bluetooth reset, Suunto App reinstall, reboot, re-pairing — nothing helped.At this point, I strongly suspect the issue comes from the Suunto App itself (iOS) or possibly corrupted activity files on the watch.
Would appreciate any insights or support from Suunto staff.

So I will roll back to 2.40.44 -
@bruno.tanqueray my newer test activity was uploaded fine. It might be some issue on the suunto servers in time of uploading activity. I synced my activity around 14:30 CEST

@bruno.tanqueray @pavel.samokha I have the same problem after upgrading Vertical to 2.40.44 - iOS Suunto App stuck at “Uploading Activity” since this afternoon (5+ hours).

@bruno.tanqueray This is a server issue NOT a watch or firmware issue. I reported the problem. Affecting me as well.

It’s working again.
Now I need to re-Update my Vertical.
It’s a shame we didn’t receive any alert from SUUNTO.
