Software Update 2.40.44 (2025 Q1 Hotfix)
-
Are there any changes in this version regarding the heart rate monitor?
Maybe it’s just my feeling, but it seems to me that the tracking is more accurate.
-
- GPS seems to need a restart of the watch (and says snyc with app several times)
- as usual some individual settings like autostop are gone
- everything else looks okay
-
I synced the watch and got a new update, right now, version 2.40.44.24122
it’s the official (non-beta) hotfix I suppose … -
@Stefano-M64 Mee too
-
It’s Beta in the description, so…
-
Release to production is planned for today

the link to Suunto says:
"Staged update starting on May 14th 2025.Improvements and bug fixes:
Watch face settings are not reset when watch face is updated in SuuntoPlus store
Fixed a bug that caused sleep tracking to fail in certain cases"so, it should be the final release

@isazi Release to production is confirmed here, it’s downloading now through the normal “Auto Update” process.

I am running the beta version. Do I need to re-install the final version? Or is it the same build?
-
@Stoke80 should be the same
-
-
Not firmware itself, but the new watchface.
Timer on it looks ugly (you can see rectangular box)
-
@Александр-Даниленко really?
what watch you use?
-
@Александр-Даниленко thank you.
Reported it. -

Automatically updated on 9PP without any issues. Well… except I have auto-updates disabled.
-
@pavel.samokha It seems that the WiFi switch works after the update.
Has anyone with this problem checked if they managed to turn on the network? -
Hello, the update happened this morning and I’m finding the watch (Vertical) and app aren’t syncing activities. Has anyone else found this issue or know how to fix it please?
Update: turning both devices off and on again fixed it!
-
@pavel.samokha two days for testing a beta version of firmware, I think this a new record

Hi everyone,
After updating my Suunto 9 Peak Pro to version 2.40.44, the watch stopped detecting my Polar H10 heart rate sensor.
Before the update, everything worked perfectly. Now, when I try to pair the HR sensor, the watch can’t find it at all.
Things I’ve already tried:
Replaced the battery of the H10
Moistened the strap and adjusted it properly
Tested the H10 with my phone – it connects instantly via the Polar app
Ensured Bluetooth on the phone is off when trying to pair with the watch
Restarted the watch and tried pairing multiple times
The H10 clearly works, and this issue started immediately after the firmware update. I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem?
Thanks in advance!
