      [link text]([link url](link url))Re: Suunto Race S general discussion

      Hello! Is it possible to add the option Intervals on swimming Mode? I cant do that. Imagine I want to swim 4x100meters with 1min of rest.

      Thank you!

        @João-Monsanto
        There are no dedicated intervals for swimming, but you can use those available in SuuntoApp by selecting the sport type: “standard”. It works.

        Suunto Viper
        Suunto HelO2
        Suunto Ambit 3 PEAK
        Suunto 9 Baro Titanium
        Suunto Vertical

          @Artus-Diver thank you.
          As “standard” I’m assuming that you mean the “non specific sport activy” in my watch. That Mode has intervals indeed, but doesnt have the pool Lengh to choose, so it will not measure de distance I swim…

          I think it should be something im doing wrong because I assume that interval training in swimming is kind of normal… 4x200… 5x100… Etc.
          I Just Wonder how can I do that with my watch guiding me

            Yes, use “non specific sport activity” and everything will be ok.
            You can set automatic distance of 100m or initiate end of 100m with button.
            Pause time can also be selected automatically or set interesting time (for example: 1 min)
            Example attached.

                I’ve been using intervals in swimming for years and it works great.
                You set the pool length in the “pool swimming” activity.
                Intervals is in SuuntoPlus and it’s an add-on to the main activity.

                1. Create an interval workout.
                2. Sync the watch with the app.
                3. Select the “Pool swimming” activity.
                4. Add the interval workout to the “Pool swimming” activity.
                5. Start swimming. Scroll through the screens if necessary.

                The watch doesn’t use GPS, only accelerometers to detect pool length and swimming styles.

                You can use intervals manually or automatically.

                Sample Interval Screen:

                You can create your own interval screens according to your needs.

                Suunto Viper
                Suunto HelO2
                Suunto Ambit 3 PEAK
                Suunto 9 Baro Titanium
                Suunto Vertical
