Latest activity will not download

the watch is connected to the phone but it does take a very long time to download the latest activity. as in, it seems to be stuck?
I restarted the watch but it still doesn’t get through the cycle.What shall I do?
the activity is visible in the watch…edit: it seems to be app related and not watch related.

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit?
