Turn by turn navigation problems

I have tested the turn by turn navigation with the new fw 2.40.38 because in the changelog was written that there is an improvement. I cannot confirm that because when i am cycling i get a small notification on the bottom of the screen around 10m before the turn. So thats way too less and after the turn the value jumps from like 3m to 11m again and then it shows the distance to the goal. Is there no notofication over the whole screen?
Has anybody else seen these weired behavior. Hope it will be fixed with new updates
