Have you ever tried to reach a point during your scuba diving? It’s good I can use a route on the Suunto Ocean during while I’m in scuba mode, but I would like to use even a map to reach some points while I’m scuba diving. What do you think about it?

@jodyparisi I am not very familiar with all the wonderful things Ocean is capable of, but I’d say this is a hopeless. Since water prevents GPS from working and messes up the touch screen, I’d say your best bet is to get a laminated paper map. Especially if you’re thinking about maps of underwater formations, shapes of the reefs etc.

I did get lost at the Red Sea Tobia Arbaa (7 pillars) site back in my days of scuba diving. Damn I felt stupid surfacing quite far away from our boat.

        Compasses: M-311, A-10, SK-7
        Diving: Finnlight Navy 90, Vyper
Sports: Metron, S7, S9B and Vertical

@BrunoH Thank you for your reply. I didn’t think about it but you’re right in thinking it would be a hopeless. Anyway I can’t understand the correct use of the PDI (Point Of Interest in italian) where you can choose things as Reef, or Wreck, or anything connected to diving PDI. It seems I just can use them while I’m on the boat.
