      HI all,
just done a first run in the city (12Km), everything was smooth.
The GPS signal was really fast to pick (faster than the S9Baro i had with me as well), all the rest of the info really good.
Saving and download of the data was also seamless in the app.

The only minor issue was that i couldn’t play the music from the watch (i have an Android, SamsungA55 paired with Shokz Run Pro), but then after the run i checked few older posts and found out that if i forced stop the Suunto app, then the controls were working again. Now looks ok.

I will test again soon 🙂 Very happy boy here !!

@Argonaut330 Suunto App “loses” permissions on Android phones. Force closing and opening SuuntoApp helps.

One of many long-standing Suunto bugs.

@maszop If Android takes away permissions, it is not a Suunto bug. Usually permissions for Android Apps are taken away if they aren’t used for a while. In the system settings for the App there is a toggle to turn that behaviour off. At least on Samsung it is…

@2b2bff This is not what you are writing about because it only takes a few hours for these permissions to disappear.
Android revokes them in a completely different case, not using for several months.

Moreover, from the Android system level these permissions are always active, it’s just that after some time SuuntoApp is unable to see/use them.
