Ocean for Running ? Anyone ?
-
@Argonaut330 Steel Black also seems more scratch-free friendly! Waiting for pics if You order!

If you are not a diver, I do not recommend getting the Ocean. Suunto sells far more running and multi-sport watches than dive computers. This means the Ocean sells in lower volumes and is unlikely to receive the same level of attention from Suunto. As a result, you may get fewer updates, fewer new features, and a higher price.
Finally, my Ocean got scratched on the first dive.

@diogao13 thanks ! But too late

for scuba diving I think a screen protector would be definitely a good idea, quite easy to get scratches on the rocks / reefs

As promised, here we are with few pics.
I spent few hrs playing with it with some personal modification and also in trying to understand how to use this beast !!Looks really really good, everything worked very smooth so far, mobile app sync, update, wifi, playing with watch-faces, sport modes customization settings and alike…due to the nature of my work i find myself quite often in China and i have also downloaded the maps for Zhengzhou…more to come on this topic
Quick one: i think the Ocean is not compatible anylonger with Suuntolink correct ? i have tried also soft reset but didn’t work.Other than that chat soon, and tomorrow first run

@Argonaut330 Congrats on your purchase. Awesome device!
It connects only to Suunto app, no SuuntoLink. -
@Highlands Thanks !!!
-
@Argonaut330 that combo of watch and watchband looks really awesome!
-
@Argonaut330 That works!
-
Suunto Link is for older Suunto watches. New one update by smartphone app. Nice combo, have a nice adventures! I regret there’s no orange strap with white Suunto label like that :D. There is Athletic 6 but i dont like.
-
