It would be nice to be able to adapt the altitude reference level without stopping the training (in options), if you pass a certain point (hut, summit) while ascending or descending, from which you know the exact altitude.

Drop or rise in pressure due to weather will always affect the actual (GPS) altitude as it is combined through FusedAlit -> that can be then corrected during a long tour.

I am quite sure, that this is not very suitable to enter while running faster, but if moving slower (e.g. hiking, mountaineering).

Therefore it is a very essential tool to have a more precise orientation (alti-wise).

Without it you have to stop the activity, go the the options and set the altitude manually. Then you have to start a new activity, unless the ‘Resume activity’ feature is resolved.

It would also be nice to have option to set barometer as “barometer”, altimeter or auto like ambit 3…

You are talking about the parameter in Movescount enhanced settings for sport modes?

@sartoric good to know! But only for sports mode or also for standby mode like ambit 3? In standby mode is very useful at least for me, when I’m camping or for example if I am at home, I set barometer in “barometer” mode , so all pressure changes are interpreted so and not as altitude changes…
